WimPen release the full details of the Arbitration
Be in no doubt!
If you have been confused by the different accounts of the dispute issued by Mr Fletcher and Mr Castro of Wimpen, owners have now been sent the unedited and original conclusions from the arbitrator.
The truth should now be clear to all.
Sr German Castro, in his capacity as a Founder member of the Los Claveles Club Committee, in a letter sent to all club members has released the unedited rulings of the arbitrator, so this should allay any doubts you may have where the real truth lies
Now that this is in the public domain, we are able to share a summary of the key points. . . . .
Arbitration
On 11-March-2020 the Arbitrator issued his verdict in the last arbitration; Mr. Fletcher and the Committee appealed this decision to the Court; on 2-02-2021 the Court fully dismissed the appeal in all its points, so it is now final and binding

Call for a Special General Meeting
- WimPen and hundreds of owners, with around 52 % of owner’s weeks, asked the Committee for the legitimate right to call a SGM in June 2021 or whenever it can be held, with just one point to be discussed: the VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE in the current Committee and the election of a new President and Committee.
- At this SGM the Club members could discuss and decide together the future of the CLUB, and everyone could propose a new Committee under an independent moderator.
- Mr Fletcher and the Committee refused on the grounds they do no hold the database
- However all owners who made the request were verified in writing by the Trustees, so the request is entirely valid, and the committee have no right under the constitution to refuse
WimPen continue to consult with lawyers in the UK and Spain regarding the next steps to protect the future of CLUB LOS CLAVELES for its members.
